while on the topic of my old pc, i want to do a clean install on it, i have moved all my "want to keep" stuff onto the 500gb drive i installed earlier this yr.
pc still has the original 80gb drive in it, partioned from factory to 2x40gb.
one of them 40gb has the os etc on it as from factory.
the 500gb is just used as a storage drive, i manually move things over to there when my 40s start getting full.
if i push that button and do a clean install, will it wipe my 500gb too?
just unplug it shay :p
this 'push button clean install' scares me honestly
never seen anything with that on it before
shay? lol
yeah was thinking just unplug but didnt know if disrupting power to it would wipe it or worse.
old pc is a veriton 7600 and the clean install feature is called "one touch recovery"
used it plenty of times.
just wipes everything and returns pc to "new" state.
different pc, but same idea....
