Been doing some troubleshooting for the turbo on the Corsa and pissing off the neighbours (serves them right for having a noisy little shit of a dog). Had it started Saturday (first time in over a year), turns out the hopefully jammed actuator isn't jammed. Checked the boost control solenoid and recirc valve (even though I have a Turbosmart one, it pays to check when it costs nothing). Manifold isn't cracked, bearing/shaft has zero play and there's one more thing to check. Compressor housing seal. That one will be fun indeed. Got a feeling the little rubber seal in the compressor housing on a K04 doesn't like high temps and boost spiking upwards of 28psi, haha.

Replaced a cracked expansion bottle (made quite a mess of the engine bay) and new front rotors plus pads.
