Unless you are having overheating issues I don't know that I would even bother replacing the stock one. Over in the UK heaps of people are running 500+HP on the stock radiators and tracking them too. The best and easiest way too cool the car down more is remove the aircon.

Im going on the advice of my mechanic Don't want plastic end tank rad Im not keen on spending 800 on a rad but don't want cheap Chinese crap either
If it is just the end tanks worrying you then get the cheap one, buy honestly I think you would be better off buying a new stock one every 5-10 years when and off the tanks crack.
Only reason I got a new rad was because I was chasing a cooling issue turned out to be the cooling system ecu blowing fuses constantly so went aftermarket fan controllers and fans and the alloy radiator. I would have just bought a stock one and the fan controller if going again.

Will discuss your info with mechanic Car has had a coolant loss smell for last six months No visible signs of coolant loss besides slow header tank level drop Thermostat replaced Have replaced hoses with roose items Have new header tank ready to fit when new cooler is fitted If new rad doesn't stop slow coolant loss and smell only other option is new turbo upgrade Stock turbo now has 76thou thru it
Check the fittings on the turbo and the heat exchanger at the rear of the engine.

Also make sure the drain on the bottom of the radiator is done up tight.

Seeing mechanic friday Will pass on info Cheers sammich
My stock radiator started weaping after about 10yrs. I tried an eBay alloy one but ended up replacing it after about 18mths as it started leaking. Now have another stock one. A brand new stock radiator for $100 delivered is pretty hard to beat IMO
Say hello to the new daily. Managed to pick up this 2002 corsa Sri for $500 with a few months rego today. Car seems to go alright but has an overheating issue, seems to be a thermostat stuck closed so will remove the stat and see how it is. Bottom radiator hose and overflow get hot, buy top rad hose neat thermostat doesn't heat up at all. Hopefully be a cheap easy fix and I can enjoy the car. Me and @Raisin may have some interesting plans for it over the coming year.
