I loaded it onto my dad's pc. A old western 2ghz single core, 1gb ram and 20g ide hdd.
I won't say it was fast, but it ran Better then xp (Abliet a pretty old Install) - but it was very Smooth.
On top of that, my 60+ yr old parents both use it, and have no issues with the interface at all. It's great for non-pc people.
great - how does it compare to XP Pro? I cant stand Vista with all its useless messages and warnings...hopefully 7 is better.
my pc has 2gb ram and i runs fast.. it rates my machine at a 5.9, which isnt bad i think..
AKAIK, the 32bit system is fine with 2gb and you only need the 64bit if you want to make use of more than 4gb..
is that right?
Hey ash let me know when u get another copy in ;)
Can I install the Home Premium Family pack on brand new computers only/older with previous license? I've got an older PC running a very cheap version of XP ;) and I'm in the process of purchasing bits and pieces for an i7 system. The third PC (the pack allows upgrading 3 systems) would be my son's netbook.
So, would be a good idea to get the pack or I need previous Windows licenses to be able to use the Family Pack?
