12 months 8 days after taking delivery of my new car the unthinkable happened!! 1 of my rims got scratched and bad. was driving down a narrow lane in Queens Park and this dumb dog runs out onto the road in front of me, could have run it over or braked and turned into the gutter to avoid a bloody end.
well plus side is i gotta buy new rims now.
i just thought id share my day wif u all

Magman (he's in punchbowl). There is an old thread in here somewhere about some damage on my wheels. I considered it a bin job, but this guy did some amazing work on it. Was just cosmetic damage tho', not structural.

how do they fix it? like what do they use?

if the rim is buckled. i think they heat up the rim slightly and then spin it on a machine, which in turn, the turning force "pops" the dent/s out.

i think the whole thing is gooneeeeeee! huge chunk of the rim is bent and i also have a phat buldge in my tyre
main thing is that i have no other damage to the car(i hope)

I'd consider getting a wheel alignment also. It's cheaper than a new set of tyres in 3000kms if its out.

Mate take them to jax in the junction they will fix it.

Ps, we sold Pacific Street hugh result prior to auction.

keep your eyes opened on Domain for a beauty coming up in Gardyne Street, should be up by end of next week... u see the 1 in St Thomas that went for $3.875m :eek:
