So who here has personalised plates and who has the standard issue ones?

Personally I have a normal blue-on-white set of ACT Y-rego number plates. Mainly because I can't really think of anything to get personalised, and personal plates here cost an absolute fortune. So I'd have to think of something that was formatted Y-letter-letter-number-number-letter to avoid the huge cost.

I'd get a set of those NSW Euro-style plates if they were available here...

That sucks! here in Qld you only pay a one off fee of $375 for colour personalised plates (Huge variety) or $1900 for prestige, but again its a once only fee. Your rego stays the same as normal plates!

well i bought my PPQ plates back in 1999 so i got special edition millennium plates which say "2000 - It's not the end of the world".

They have reissued the plate but it now say "The New Millennium"

While in melbourne in jan....some lowlife mexican decided to steal my rear plate.

Had to pay $65 for replacement...

Oh and the plates only cost me $255 back then :P ...$395 now..
