AnyAustralian and New Zealander import vaxhall VXR or Opel?

HI any NZ and Australian import VXR and Opel/Vaxhall? just interest to ask. I understand in nz got alot used opel from japan and singapore but how in australia any owner or ex british import their one from european?

There was a person in QLD who imported a 5 door Astra G Diesel couple of years back and recently was selling it on eBay.com.au as for any OPC\VXR Opels i do not think anyone in Australia has yet (Australia has very strict and expensive car importing laws to protect the Australian car manufacturers)

as for NZ, yes there are plenty of Opels (mainly from Japan) that have been imported...they even have Astra G Coupe (the two door, not the three door hatch!)

Is that much diff between Australia holden astra/VXR/CDT and vectra then UK/Eu vaxhall and opel?
