Good News, My Girl Friend just bought a Astra SRi 2.2L

BAD news, Its in automatic bcoz her mum has to drive it as well..

Good news, Picked it up SOOOOOO FRIKEN CHEAP $19350 from wogga wogga and its only got 19000km its a 2002mod in black :) Perfect condition inside out...

Bad news, she is not a member of www.opelaus.com but i'll do my best to convince her :)

yeha i know and a lady owner as well, she is the preachers wife and i think it was maybe a company car for the church or something and they just bought a new jeep and i'de say they just wanted to get rid of it.. its just a lucky buy i guess, right time right place :D

yeah i drove it and its still got some good torque and nice pulling power expecially after 4000rpm :D... even it auto its all good im sure that is plenty of power for when her mum has to drive it hee hee....

oh well, just have to select thru gears when pounding. does the SRi auto have that annoying disengage when the car has come to a complete stop. my missus's astra has that and it annoys the freak out of me!

yeah it dropps into neutral and it makes abit of a jerk when its in and out of neutral and drive. its not so bad when ur the driver but i guess when ur a passanger its more noticable.

its a right pain when u try and inch into a small space on a slope, too!! :oops:
