I'd guess at a bit of a zorst, but then the stockies do sound VERY similar to that.

Depends on the recording mic placement, as theres not much exterior noise either.

I agree it mustve been stripped, can't really see a Corsa going up against a 325is and keeping up with it, unless the BMW driver wasn't pushing hard enough!!

Taken from ecca:

Barina SRi 2002(?):
Engine - internally stock with OEM tuning, extractors, pod filter.
Suspension - shocks, springs, sway bars, lowered, extra negative front camber.
Tyres - Road tyres for the vid (goodyear F1s I think), normally races on P-Zero full slicks.
Brakes - OEM, but with good rotors, pads and fluid.
Other - Pink valve cover http://forums.eurocca.net/images/smilies/biggrin.gif, trick roll cage, no sound deadening etc, no interior except for the dash.
Class - the car is built to improved production rules, but has to run in sports sedans when on slicks http://www.eurocca.net/forums/images/smilies/rotflmao.gif.

BMW 325is 1988:
Engine - stock.
Suspension - stock springs, Konis in the back, stock shocks up front, good bushes throughout, about -1 1/4 camber all round.
Tyres - Firenza road tyres.
Brakes - Wilwood 300mm rotors and 4 pot callipers, good pads and rotors.
Other - It's a road car, so everything else is as the factory intended.

LOL awesome, thats all i needed to know!! Put a set of extractors, exhaust, and filter in the 325is and the barina would have no chance!! That's without taking the interior out hehehe!!

Can't really compare the two though as being on level ground, 1.8L and 92kw vs 2.5 125kw.
