BA just came out not too long ago.. doubt they'd spend a bazillion dollars designing a new one so quickly..

the changes look different enough to classify it as a new model. The changes to BF were so subtle I wouldn't be able to pick a BF from a BA if I saw it driving on the street.
But from Side on, it's still an AU

Funny the first concept sketches of VE were done in 2000 before the BA had been released, and the final design locked in in 2003. It doesn't take just a couple of years to design a car.
