yep nothing better than a good run on the dyno. i was there the first year a car made over 1000hp and it was bloody awesome! mind you in the "good old days" F1 cars had 4 cylenders that made 1000hp just for qualifying then they would put a fesh mottor in with less boost for the race

Yeh awesome stuff... was at the AME Holden vs Ford show last year (another round of HP Heroes) and they had a 1500 hp Twin Turbo 8 VZ Ute run, got to about 1000 hp and blew the manifold. The exhaust note on this thing was unbelievable, sounded more like some sort of weapon of mass destruction. lol Got a small clip of it somewhere, but dunno where to upload it...

That video is of TRYHRD which happened a while ago. From what i remember, the o ring of one of the injectors split, causing the injector to pop out and spray fuel into the piping hot engine bay! Funniest thing is it still made 1211hp that run!!

Pretty sure thats Eddy Tasone's new car.

He had the Blue VH that was making like 1000hp a year or two back!!!

Yeh I think it is, the VH was Gold before the Blue. Think it may be the same engine, just put in the newer VZ Ute.

The VZ is isn't the same Engine as Tassone used in the VH's.
The VZ is a 6.0l Gen IV.

Yeah it was so sad to see that car go, it was definetely one of a kind (over $250000 spent), saw the burnt out bodyshell on ebay a while back!

TRYHRD on the other hand actually fared very well, no major damage at all, just gotta fix a bit of burnt plastic and things under the bonnet and obviously put in a new (and better) fuel rail and injectors and should be back soon!!

Nope, it's a Holden Twin Turbo 383 Stroker. Just did a record run last month of 1895rwhp. Can't wait to see this at the up coming show.
