Hi All,

Audi have launched the new S3 Quattro (http://www.hothatchheaven.com/2006/08/02/audi-s3-quattro-265-bhp-195kw-rocket/) today.

It's corporate like styling'll mean it's a bit of a sleeper but @ USD$44,000 it's on the pricey side, particularly if it makes it to AU.

Cheers,
Miyagi

i will not be spending that much on a car ever. Its cool but spending over 50k on a car is not some thing i can justify.

but its still cool

I can definately justify spending over 50k on a car for sure, but not on a hatch... Nice looking car though.

nice, but thats alotta money, nearing audi TT price..

that kinda money can buy alot of other cars..

i would say the Golf R32 would be its biggest (and $20k+) cheaper competitor..

Personally i think this is better looking than the R32

(BTW.. did you know skoda's noever used to be touched with a ten foot barge pole a while back.. they used to be laughed at for their poor reliability and build quality... amazing how far they have come)

Yes, they are.

Did you also know the Fabia RS (a high spec model) is almost cheaper than the base model Corsa D?
Or did I REALLY confuse my currencies.

did you also know that the golf GTI shares the same engine and 0-60's as the equivelant Skoda, whatever it's called, at a reduced price.

It probably shares the same platform. Just like the A3 does.

The Seat Leon Cupra (http://www.hothatchheaven.com/2006/07/18/seat-leon-cupra-released-20-fsi-177kw-240bhp/) is basically a (nicely done) reshelled Golf GTi also and it is even wound up nicely power wise.
