It was to do with the 1.8 and something about 2 different models or something, and on one it needed changing at x time and the other it didnt.

Does anyone have any idea what it was? because i obv. dont. (Cant remember what it was either)

The z18xe is the newer one which is used until now (from 00 or 01 onwards, Astras before that had the x18xe)

He probably means the timing belt.

Coz one owners handbook says 120k and the other says 60k

Rule of thumb - change belt at 60k :)

Yep sounds like timing belt, think the change was bout 2000-2001'ish!

X18XE has the chain.
