JS V6 Hatchback owner

Hi,
I'm from Sydney and have just found this site after having been a member of a number of Vauxhall sites in the UK.
I purchased a hatchback in January 2005 seconhand with 45000kms. This was a great car to drive but I have had problems particularly with Holden and the dealer network in terms of support. I wont bore everyone with all the details at this point but I would be keen to know if anyone else has had knock/piston slap problems with the 2.5V6. I know of 2.

wow, another Don? I think we're a dieing breed mate :P

Here's hoping the car gets fixed soon. My advice is take it to a mechanic and have them diagnose the problem then take it to holden to get repaired (if its under warranty).

Otherwise, forget Holden and have it repaired by someone that actually knows what they're doing.
