Hey Gem, I would suggest Sikaflex, araldite or similar. Double sided tape would hold them on but being out in the elements it wouldn't be the best. Don't use superglue though, as you risk frosting your headlight lense with the fumes.

Cheers

sikaflex or clear silicone will work nicely, just make sure you give them enough time to cure, would help if they were held down using masking tape or similar during the curing

I used clear silicon on mine.. one of them is as good as the day I put it on.. the other came of while I was driving as I didn't put enough of it on when I fitted them.

That's why my Astra has been winking for so long!!

well i fitted min eyesterday with some good doube sided tape, was careful to put as much on as possible and also to make sure that they had been press on firmly....

then i went for a carwash...and one of the flew off on the way home :(

so i have now used clear silicone...they aint going nowhere!

Some fit better than others. One they are on with those sort of glues it isn't easy to get them off.

yeah i think the ones i got are a bit short, so it looked better to have them fit in with the bottom bonnet line rather than the top part under th bonnet

yeah the one that flew off was then run over by a **** that saw me waiting on the side of the road to run out and get it, so he aimed for it and run over it with 2 tires..

all i can say is i am VERY glad i bought the plastic kind, because even after all that it fit back on perfectly :D ...a fibreglass one would be in al least 5 pieces...

(and lets hear it for meguairs range of polishes that took 90% of the scratches and scuffing out...)
