Steering Wheel For Opel Astra G '98

Hello everybody,

I have an Opel Astra G 1998 model and I want to change it's steering wheel with another one taken from a Vectra B.Does anyone know if the Vectra steering wheel wil fit in my car?

isnt that illegal to do in australia? why do you want to swap the wheels? does the vectra wheel have the radio controls? i think it's been done in the UK..

Emm i dont think it would be illeagal seein as u are just replacing a safty item with another saftey item. Mr corsa has an irmy wheel i think i dout that is illeagal. . i think the issue that is being put up is the idear of removing an air bag unit and not replacing with a similar unit

I had a car accident last year and I haven't changed the airbag with a new one.
And I found this really cool leather steering wheel complete with airbag from an Opel Vectra and I was wondering if it would fit my car as well.
