Does anyone know of any non-genuine/aftermarket companies that do parts for the astra? I'm in need of a few way overpriced parts, and have been told that only holden does them. I'm happy to wait and import if I can get them cheaper from over yonder.

alot of parts are geniune only

I work at a dealership with 5 franchises as a parts interperter and not much is available non gen. its mainly servicable items (filters, brake pads etc) and crash parts (guards, bonnets, headlights etc) that are available non gen

hope this helps

thanks. yeah Im going to have to try some wreckers - is there any company that can source wrecker parts/ act as a broker and call wreckers for me? I work & haven't got time to sit down for hours trying every wrecker in Brisbane, and haven't been down this path b4.

Yeh, try Autovaux, they sell genuine parts, but at much less of the cost GMH want for similar parts - and that's with shipping included.........

I paid less than half the O/A cost for a complete Calibra V6 timing belt kit, pulleys and water pump including delivery to my door, compared with buying the exact same parts locally from GMH.........
