Hi all,

Does anyone know if Bosch Aerotwin Retrofit windscreen wipers are available in Australia, and if so, where? Their German website says that they are available for the Opel Vectra B and C, but their Australian site doesn't list them.

Thanks.

I am confussed...

As per website, do we need;

- Bosch-Aerotwin Wiper Blades. or
- Retro-fit Aero Blades-NEW!

Is one to replace the whole arm and the other just an in-fill, utilising the existing arm?

Astra G 21"/19" 530mm/475mm
Vectra C 24"/19" 600mm/475mm

Aero blades as seen on newer European cars do not have an "arm", they look shapeless and curves to fit the windscreen. When lifted they sort of sag... so I would imagine to retrofit these to wipers that did not come standard with these blades, you would need the whole blade to clip on the wipers

On the Bosch site they didn't say about having them for the Astra as a retrofit... are you sure you got the right one?

Just to clarify, the Bosch Aerotwin are only suitable for the Astra H.

The ones that I purchased for the Astra and Vectra are from a company called Classic Wipers. They have a universal mount to enable their blades to fit on the Astra, Vectra etc.

The Vectra C has 24" / 19" Blades. The Astra G has 21" / 19" Blades.

Here's a link; http://www.1stautobulbs.com/ClassicWiperFusion.php

Hope this helps.

Only problem is I live in Brisbane & it hardly rains here!

Just to clarify, the Bosch Aerotwin are only suitable for the Astra H.But I think Bosch also make a "Retrofit" product for fitting to cars that don't have them as original equipment. For some reason it only seems to be listed on their German web site.

don't bother with overseas - go to supercheap auto.
BA500 - driver side
BA475 - passenger side

bout $20 each. the above r for astra g. i'm guessing it would b da same for the astra h.

i'm also sure they have ones for the vectra. just have a look at the catalogue next to where they stock the bosch aerotwins (in the store) n u should b able to find vectra.

there has been a couple of discussions on this before:-
