Reminds me a little of Opel Vectra (the last of Holden Vectra model)...a little

Toyota Australia does not have a model like this? Camry would be the closest?

Saw the current model in Europe when I was there last year - lot of Taxi's in Greece are Avensis - I actually didn't mind it..... for a Toyota.

That's it! i also saw it when i was in europe but could not remember where was it (old age...short memory HA!) thanks mate! lots of them (and Skoda Octavia) in Athens as taxis, that's right!

I actually really liked the Octavia's - didnt look too bad, plus they now have VW build quality - in one trip in a diesel octavia, the driver was giving it heaps and boy did it move!!!!!

that looks nothing like the Avensis sold here. completly different to the one sitting in my Drive way

They must use the Avensis name plate for a wagon/people mover type car here in OZ. In Europe, the Avensis is a mid-size sedan like the Vectra/Octavia/Modeo.

the model we get is the AVENSIS VERSO, which is the people mover version, which is also sold in Europe, along with the Yaris Verso and Corolla Verso

skodas are nice but engines are undersized imo...

back of this toyota reminds me of the mitsu 380
