Howdy,

Just got back from work after i supprisingly returned to my car and my keys were locked in the car

This would seem an imposible feet being there is only one key/remote and it was in the car, your unable to push the button down with the keys in the ingnition.

Only thing i can think of is for some reason the car locked itself.

And i think its to much of a coincidence that only less then a week ago i installed one of clints amazing TCU's.... When installing the unit i made sure 100% that there were no bare wires ect...

Soooo.. Either

1. The car does this as a security measure
2. Somehow the TCU is leaking a ground to the incorrect wire ?
3. ??

Any ideas ?

(note: i work in a VERY VERY secure building ie Palm Scan/Weight Scan/Swipe cad with pin to even get close to the car. Hense why i leave my keys in my car, well used to anyways)

The Barina/Corsa does actually lock itself after 30 seconds if no doors have been opened. For example; if you go out and unlock your car and realise you've left something inside the house and go back and get it, you will come back and the car will have locked itself. But it seems yours has locked itself even though a door has been opened, may have something to do with the TCU you installed.

i work in a VERY VERY secure building ie *edit* Weight Scan

what happens if you need to umm...'lose weight' in the building, and then need to leave?

i wish my astra locked itself :(.. my calibra used to do it so i got a little relaxed and if i thought i had forgot i wouldnt worry cos i knew it would lock itself in 30 min..

now on the rare occasion i forget to lock its always in some really dodgy place or where i have been away from the car for aaaaaages :(...is there a way to get the stock control unit to do it?

it might be a loose conection some how your car is not reading the drivers door was opened. that would make sence.
