Astra CDX Coupe - Price increase of $1000

The price of the Astra CDX Coupe has been increased by $1000 and a few extra features have been added. It now gets front fog lamps and new 'Sports' 16" Alloys. Not sure if the entire Astra range has been increased in price.

The following information relates to the Astra Hatch, not coupe, but is still interesting.
It was said a while back that Holden was dropping the CDXi, from the range and throwing a few extra features into the CDX. This includes front fog lamps, the CDXi sport 16" alloys, semi automatic climate control and curtain airbags. The sporty part leather seats that came with the CDXi are now an option on the CDX. The price increase from what i can work out looks to be just $500. Someone please correct me if im wrong but from what i can remember when i was buying my '05 CDX the RRP was $24,490 + on road costs. This now appears to be $24,990 but you get a heap more kit. Would definitely make the CDX a much more appealing prospect!
Edit- Also just noticed that CDX now comes standard with "cloth" seats, compared with the slightly more premium "velour" seats that were originally standard (no longer even an option). I think they are hoping most people will fork out the $2000 for the heated leather seats!
