hey guys n girls, just found my way over here after picking up a 99 astra city for my mum.

i have a 98 civic vtir myself, hope the astra is as reliable as the honda, has a few niggling problems, which i'll hopefully address abit more comprehensively after using search a few times.

*radio needs code,
*remote from key doesn't work,
*car has 51000kms, but drives a bit rough, almost like theres some flat spots down low, previous owner said it is an electrical issue of some sort, but i've sussed it out to possibly be the ecu

anyways, away i go digging for info, cheers!

thanks for the warm welcome guys n girls :D

btm: hahaha, the astra's a nice daily driver, but the civic's got a lil bit more poke in it :p

bernard: which EK have you got mate? vtir?

oneightoo: yep, just visited suttons homebush, charged me 10dollars for it, didnt mind paying though.

as for the remote key, damn, it costs $160~ odd dollars to get it reprogrammed and needs the car to be booked in for a day!
