Name's Simon. I live in the UK in Wiltshire and saw a link to this site in the profile of a member of one of the UK forums (hello Shaun). I drive a Vauxhall Astra SRi Sport Hatch, as they're known over 'ere. It's Silver Lightning in colour and is a diesel engined model with 18" rims. Not had it too long, so still getting used to it. Owned a Vectra C and an Astra Coupe Turbo before that.

Very well, thanks. You're probably aware of how much fuel costs in the UK (almost up to £1 per litre or AU$2.40!), so diesel cars are becoming very popular. Diesel tuning is also becoming very popular and this 1.9 engine can be tuned to around 195BHP/330-350lbft or 145KW/about 450Nm, so pretty nippy! :D

Saw your pics on Astra SRI

Would love a oil burrnin Astra coup but we only get the five door, and i dont think i am that old yet

If you hunt around, those pics are also on astra-sport and vectra-c.com ! I'd take some new ones, but we don't get much nice weather! :(

Is the HSV VXR the only 3 door H you can get in Aus then? I was over in Sydney and QLD last year and only remember seeing G's (and not too many of them, either!).

We get the coup, estate, and 5 door hatch,
the deseil will only be relised in a five door we are also getting the SRI-T and the VXR
