I have done over 60K on my 4 year old astra convertible and the tyres are still in good condition.

I drive quite hard 60% of the time and also 2 months ago, took the car on a track for the afternoon.

Just well inpressed as with my driving style, though the tyres would last half this time (and they grip quite well as well!!)

Anyone else get this type of use out of their tyres?

I used to have an Astra CD which got towards 90,000 - the OE tyres were, as Holden put it, "low rolling resistance". Or as I put it, "**** in the wet and under hard braking". No such probs with the Turbo, though - but I don't think it's possible to get more than 30,000 out of a set of tyres on 'em...

i got 11,000 on my 1st set of tyres....and ive now done 6000 km and ive worn through 50% of the front tyres roughly 15 on the back...time for a rotation.
gotta love how sydney roads eat your tyres through cornering and braking.
(1st set silverstone...does explain alot. 2nd set toyo proxes )

I got just over 59,000 kms on my 2003 SRi Astra.
They were the stock 16s.

I don't exactly drive like a grandma.
