On the way home from the club tonight and seen a Bright red Astra G Hatch parked next to mine now i thought they didn't bring red out to oz ??
It looked original not a respray.
How can it be ?

could be an import? if not then it would have to be a respray.
or though, it mightve been a rosso convertible?

i love the astra in that red
why did they never bring a red astra out here? (besides conv) Just about every other model of Holden came out in a red....

Because for some reason, of the 20-25 colours Opel was offering in Europe on the Astra G, Holden generally only brought out 6-8 at a time here. Red hasn't been an 'in' colour for a while now so Holden probably figured it was better off bringing more variations on blue, silver and grey.

than it's a respray..
yeah i dont like the green, but the maroon isnt too bad.. i like rob3y's astra.. looks good..

Yeh well i thought about gettin the gold for my wagon then desided not. Also my dearlership told me resale on that colour is sh/it but yeh...

It could also have been a car that Holden imported for evaluation - ie, we'll bring in one red car and see if it looks any good, or bring in a small batch of them and see how quickly they sell.
