Why don't you just get slim line? Atleast you don't get a yearly fee and you can save your money for something more useful? But of course it's your money...

they are slimline and there is no annual fee on them....

In Adelaide we have to pay a yearly fee of $240 i think from memory? For personalised plates, unless you have a number in it then it's a once off fee.

I'd prefer the slim line/premium plates. You guys should have them aswell (I'd hope.)

In Adelaide its a once off fee of $170 for personalised plates, then if u want custom plates $190 per year for up to 6 letters or numbers any combo, and $240 per year for 7 letters or numbers any combo, i know cause i just got mine , OPEL 01:cool:,

the company i work for had 13 trucks, all custom 7 letter plates @$240 per year just to have custom plates, i work in the desert so it's not like we're cruising around town & flying the company flag, then some bean counter worked out how much money they were wasting & they got standard plates instead, it was costing them $3120.00 per year, no wonder i havent had a pay rise, lol:D

euro plates in qld look great but I all too often see Jap cars with them, seems pointless to me. maybe the drivers are italian or somethin. like my foreign neighbor who has an sp23 with euro plates

decided they are too noticble, might stick with modded 'normal' ones ie SRI-??? cheaper too
