The Mazda MX-5

How predictable!

But it is a great car, they did award COTY to the original MX-5.

But a two seater that has FOUR cup holders?!

LMAO!

wasnt it the new barina ? :p

Red AH SRI T
24th January 2006, 11:38 AM
nope, new barina was excluded from judging because it was a re-badged car that was previously available here, even though it has had major changes

CJB
24th January 2006, 11:43 AM

Red AH SRI T

The MX-5 in NFS-Underground 1 was my ultimate car in the drift competions :D
Now all Australia needs is the hard top version!!!

Tiburon better than the Integra?? Integra Type R?
The Tiburon was such a crappy car in NFS-Underground 2, absolutly no handelling, major understeer issues.

PaulyJ

I was going to say this before when the Tiburon was raised...but preferred my bank teller joke...;)

The Tiburon is actually a very refined vehicle, I have driven several and was quite supprised by its quality and handling. The 2.7L V6 is a bit limp wristed at 127KW but the 6 cogs make up for it.
The next model due out later this year is rumoured to have either the Sonata's 173KW 3.2L V6 or the Grandeur's 197KW 3.8L V6 and is tipped to be RWD... ...mid 14's for sure...!!!

That would be a blast to drive I reckon, just a good cheap fanging around car.
