Unfortunately looks like Australia will not get this one...

1. New front lights and front metal.
2. New 2.8 V6 Turbo (230HP) engine (0-100Km/h in 7.4sec)

things that make you go......

the interior isn't too bad....it could be worse. But I don't know...the Vectras just don't look sporty enough, and for the money get a 3.8l dunnydoor

If you ignore the colour choice in that pic, the interior looks to be basically unchanged. Not sure about the front end styling - the old front end wasn't too good, but I don't think this new one is an improvement, just different.

I'd certainly be enthused about the Z28NET engine... :)

Probably got a better chance in seeing the 3.6T in a commonwhore than seeing that...!!!

Or a better chance of me getting a roast lamb with baked spuds and corn on the cob for dinner tonight...!!!

My wife owns a Vectra C CDX and I drive a 2004 Commodore. In my opion the Vectra is a much better car. It beats the commodore in every category. Its faster, better handling, better built and more comfortable. In fact there is no comparison between the two cars.

That's a totally mad car....would love to get my hands on one. Too bad Holden ain't bringing it over here, but having said that, the Vectras aren't selling well here.

I love the current shape Vectra, I'm considering getting one to replace my cali, but not many have manual boxes. Went for a test drive on Mon in a 2.2L CD, but I'd much rather the 3.2L V6 CDXi....so sleek and sporty :)

To me the current shape vectra seems to have been designed by the same team who does the recentish cadillacs, or they were at least sharing similar ideas.

I like it.

edit: the current one, not the new one coming

Holden's engine Co are supplying a 2.8L turbo V6 to Volvo. Is this the same engine?

you got your swedish car company's mixed up there

Holden are suppying a 2.8 Turbo V6 to SAAB (a GM company) not Volvo (a Ford Company)

Doooohhhhh! You're right.... but don't all Swedes look alike????

(one of the 'legend' Holden sales guys retired last year. One of his quotes that got him into a little strife at the time was "Saab..... that's that Swedish company that's got more models than it has customers isn't it???" (quote's from memory so not verbatim, but pretty close)
