Oh it was a good day at the drags of friday.

Apart from the boiling heat and the smell of pretol fumes that gave me a cronic headache, it was a great day.
Great to see goran, glenn and steve down there.

Had a couple of crap runs, only 3 runs in total.

16.1 (first run) crap crap carp
15.1 (still crap left the tc on spun the wheels)
14.7 ( a bit better i reckon a few more runs would maybe have pushed my time down :( )

Oh well next time

Do they measure your reaction times as well.....maybe you were getting better launches in the end? 14.7.....getting there!!!

I had two runs in the boiling heat had both runs in the 14s and after that went home cos there was soooo many cars .

OPL-20T Looks Like he Had JO-BLO Behind Him.
I ran JO-BLO @ Calder(2000) And He demoralised me.
I thought I was good With a All Day 10.3(RX3 13B Turbo).

It aint Supercharged and Full Tubbed.
But I must Bow down to a Street Reg. Car that Run 7.62-7.80 Consistant.
My Mazda was Up there but that demoralises me. :oops:

I ran againts that tora on my last run, he did something in the low 12's.

the funiest thing was that when he finished his run his car was smoking white smoke

Great pics. I especially like No.3 'cause i used to have an N15 SSS & it is lined up against my current wheels. :mrgreen:

The SSS pulsar pulled a mid 1to low 14 i think

Yeah he did he beat that was my second run high 14's i think. Didn't get around to asking him what he had under the hood. I met another Nissan owner there who was running they SRD20?? motor in his.

sounds like an SR20DET to me. i dun think a stockish SSS would get in the 14s, would it?

N/A it is very possible.

Though I heard there were alot of SSS with N12 Fitted SR20DET's there on Friday!

he had a good launch, my wheels were spining and i pulled seconds, but yet i still managed to catch up to him and he only bit me by a few milli seconds so i reckon with a good launch an astra would leave him for dead

OPL-20T didnt race on friday .
OPL-20T did race on saturday at the VW nationals.

OPL-20T = 15.114 @ 95.29mph and 153.36kmph
Too Hot of a day for my car to run 14z.
my times went from 15.1 to 15.2 to 15.3 to 15.5 and to 15.6.

AIR TEMP 26
REL HUMIDITY 58
TRACK TEMP 41

MODS = d&n replacement filter, and 3" exhaust to rear mulfer still stock.

Was talking to the guy in the Silver SSS, he was behind me in the line up. SR20DE, no turbo. simple mods. Did low 15's and a high 14 in the morning.
