Anyone tried it?

Locked your keys in your car? Try this

If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call

someone on your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your

car door and have the other person at your home press the unlock

button

of your key fob (clicker), holding it near the phone on their end.

Your car doors will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your

keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles

away, and if you can reach someone who has the other "remote" for your

car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk!).

Editor's Note * It works fine! We tried it out, and it unlocked our car

over a cell phone!

Mike's Note * I locked the car had my youngest daughter call me while I

was far away from the car. I clicked open into the phone and I could

hear the car doors unlock through her cell phone. My daughter

confirmed that sure enough the doors opened.

if you get 2 empty baked bean cans with a string tied between the two, and you press your keyfob at one end while holding the other end near your locked car, it actually works. i used a string about 1 metre long. not sure if it works with longer string :)

Remember an email that went around saying that if you entered a secret code on your Nokia mobile, it would bring up a hidden menu and allow your mobile to work as a radar detector!!!

Some guy on a forum was convinced that it would work!! :)

That phone is retro!!! ha ha ha.

I get a new phone every year and so far they have all been Nokia’s except for the Samsung I had last year. Nokia are the best. I am now on a 6130i I think it is… the black and silver one.

I used my Dads Ericsson for a while, it wasn’t like that flip one, the other one… the brick style.

Those internal aerials were so cool when they first came out. I was jealous cos my brother was old enough to get on a plan and he got one. My other brother had a Philips Savvy… ha ha remember those???
