We do not have Recaro seats here in OZ. If you can imagine the seats you have completely in leather, that is what they look like.

danny, I don't think the ones in the aussie spec SRi-T are Recaros like the GSi and new VXR will have.

Even the VXR ones are half leather

they are nice seats in the aus spec SriT astra coupe leather
i like them as well
full leather on the uk spec gsi is £1500 more then the std one with 1/2 leather £1500ukp is a joke for a bit of cow

Our model names are different to the UK GSi.

im in Rotherhithe.

Myself im not a fan of the pattern on the GSi seats,
the VXR part leather recaros have deffo been updated
for th better, upgrade for full leather on VXR is £1000,
i didnt opt for the full leather as im looking into getting the race
material done in red leather

I did look into a astra Vxr but i wanted a 5 door on and there is not one YET

im on astra-sport as aussie but not on very often more on astra-sri with the same name, i had the chance to take the VXR for a spin back in July and was won over, unfortinatly mate there will never be a 5 door VXR, next best thing will be the 200 bhp 5 door with the VXR line 2 and a remap. Hopefully my VXR will be arriving in approx 2 weeks, build completion is today and ships later this week.

there should be a 5 door VXR
the Focus ST comes in 5 door
the Golf gti comes in 5 door
the Golf R32 comes in 5 door
the bmw 130 comes in 5 door
the skoda RS comes in 5 door

vauxhall should offer one as i could not live with a small 3 door car again as i have 2 kids one dog an a witch to carry around i like small cars the other car is one of them but its the size of a boat an drinks more :lol:

if i can remember correctly Stu Harris said to me they found the chassie and body didnt like the amount of power being put out through the front wheels when trialed, hard to control, same to with the Tigra being a TT. So to the reason for the veccy vxr.

thats why the witch is getting a focus st an not a astra
now i would of loved the astra vxr in a 5 door
vauxhall did not do the astra gsi in a 5 door in the uk
but you coud buy a avant in france

i would stay clear of the ST at present
appears to be a major miss match of colour coding,
looks like Ford and Opel had the same supplier of plastics,
where as Opel rejected the final product Ford thought what the f**k
they are only paying 17 plus k for the car
check out this from the focus forum, im glad now for my delay as i wouldnt like to be going through what some of the ford owners are, court cases etc lol

i'm yet to see a OPC SRI turbo astra that looks like the one's in germany from opel hehe with the sports mirrors like in the pic danny posted

the irmscher mirrors look nice but you cans see **** out of them i had a set on the car for a week then i sold them on an put std ones back on :lol: well then let you see whats next to you on the road but then done look as nice
