From the horses mouth.

"Unfortunately we can't do either of your cars (AH Astra or MU Frontera 3.2 V6) yet.

We may be able to upgrade your vehicles in the new year, we will let you know when something becomes available.

Best Regards

Powerchip Australia"

They used to list it ...but no more. Has anyone got an AH Chip (software upgrade)?

I find it amazing as :
1. Last time I looked at their web site it said it supported AH...now it don't.#$#%$#.
2. They must be same ECU or at least very similar.
3. I suspect the issue is that the AH has the CAN bus and as GM integrated that with the Engine management it has meant Powerchip are yet to catch up.

Does anyone in the know have an explanation on why it would differ between TS and AH?

This sux as I was ready to spend the $890 but when I went to do it they had withdrawn it.

In the mean time I'll chase Powerchip for a better explanation.

My guess is they tried it and failed to work right :) My guess is too that the engine management system is a little bit different....... :) (in the way it works with the rest of the car)

You are correct.

They explained it that way and you are spot on.

Could not create a noticable improvement.

Sound like a great blokes though.
