I will be picking up a copy on the way home tonight from work. Also CAR magazine in the uk have a story on the VXR range this month im told.

I missed yesterday's edition of Wheels, they only had today's one at the newsagents and I was told they don't carry yesterday's issues. Does anyone know where I can pick up a copy of yesterday's?

Astra OPC has done an 8 min 38sec round the rIng.... in the wet! Apparently it was foggy on some stages as well. I've got the dvd coming and we may release on the website if good quality.

yeah the factory quote figure for the 0-100km/h was something like 7.2secs..apparently every mag which has tested it has got comfortably (as in a couple of tenths) under the 7sec barrier...

i have seen it run 6.28 sec
but most mags over here have got it to 6.3 & 6.4 sec 0-100km

so 6.7 sec is good going trying to get the power down on a wet track and no LSD. Most will say the car will be all over the place in the wet
well it was quicker around the ring than the new R32 and the BMW 130i
one a rwd and the other awd (both v6 250 + bhp power plants)

The car was tested By Wheels in the UK. Vauxhall Version of the car. They were impressed with its abiltys .Also say that it will have no problems fitting into the HSV line up with its looks either.


My Money is on the VXR Taking out Motor Magazines Best Bang for Bucks contest either in 2006 or 2007 Or Placing in the Top 5.
