Hi Guys,

ANYONE with trip computers - can you press the 2 buttons on your wiper stalk and write down the 2 lines of code that come up???
Should be in

XXX X
XXX XXXXX

format :) I need this info :)
Also can you post the tyres your can CAME with and your engine type :)

He's working on a hack to convert non trip computers. The code is possibly tied up with language/distance measurement/wheel diameter.
Im either psychic or I read A-S (http://www.m1gst.com/vb/showpost.php?p=455555&postcount=1) too ;)

First line "025" is the code to adapt it to your engine...

"052" i have no idea about as it seems to change the longer you drive.... (gets lower?!?!)
the next is the number of "pulses" per Km...
:)

I'm trying to build a "hack" for people wanting a trip computer and not the bulb checking stuff ;) it's so far so good...

So what did you end up doing? Mod a standard display or just buy a trip computer and adjust it? Did you get many of the code combinations for differing engines/wheel sizes? Are you looking into completing a how to for others to complete the same if it is a standard screen mod?
