well, went to wash the car today, first time in 2 weeks because the weather hasnt been really nice, and look what i find....

the dent is from above, so i havent reversed into anything (not that i could've made that dent without hearing something), it looks as if someone has accidently jammed something between the spoiler and bootlid. a fair dent and scratch on the bootlid, scuff marks on the underside of the spoiler, and if you look close in the photo you can see a scratch mark on the windscreen.

i have no idea when or how this happened, all i know is that im REALLY REALLY pissed off. especially considering the thing is up for sale again and i have a buyer about to put a deposit on it....

yeah i know,
you know i coulda lived with it if -I- done it, or even if it happened six months ago i woulda just been ****ty and got it fixed.... but im hoping to have the car gone within a few weeks. it just happened at the worst time.

well most of the money i was going to get ontop of what i still owe on the car, which was going to go to wheels for the new beast, looks like it may have just dissappeared.....
grr....

Sorry to hear that JP Dyno, am I right in saying as the dent is near the fold, the metal is quite strong there and must have been done with some power and an object. Just thinking if it was done delibretley, why do the damage there under the spoiler that is hard to get at. As its at the top, take it this couldn't be another car.?????

Havn't parked near a golf course, my friend had a similar dent caused by a golf ball - only a thought.

yeah, there was some talk from guys at work about idiots trying to jimmy off the spoiler,
but in all seriousness i dont think its been deliberate. I reckon its been a pipe or some steel hanging out the back of some tradies ute or something. the scratch is definatly inwards (from behind going towards the windscreen)
Even if i had parked by a golfcourse, i doubt it was a ball. a goldball wouldn't have scuffed the underside of the spoiler leaving black marks or scratched the windscreen.

Its organised to get fixed either this monday or next monday, I'll let you guys know and show results then
