After waiting a far bit the new zorst has turned up

even importing it and exchange rate etc it was cheaper that getting it done local and a lot better quality always a fan of off the shelf stuff

it arrives

as its for a 2.2 and with my state of engine tune de-restrict filter veccy c intake remap i had it ceramic coated to hold in more heat

hi i paid $700

and about $60 import duty

and in a local zorst shop here was the same price so went the ready made option



and have only had it on a few days but seems to have smothed out power delivery so will wait and see :D

is that just a rear muffler???

if so they are like $150 for a stainless one?? the remus ect is heaps though??

if you ask me you overpaid for just a muffler. a nice xforce one will set you back the most $350

thats a huge box just for a muffler!! I recon it's cat back, or maybe from the flex joint back

I'd buy Jetex over Remus although they're both quality premium european systems.

yep its full cat back

2.5 inch piping mandrel bend

so price wise its good

got quoted $1000 for same thing from Local performance zorst shop

by that i meant of course it had to be at least cat-bak....no-1 could possibly be stupid enough to pay $700 for just a muffler

local remus agent quoted $1200 for the rear muffler alone

best mufflers syd quoted me 750 remus dtm style tips fitted ....i thinki its a good price

personally i wouldn't pay that much; that doesn't mean the price isn't good; it may well be (i wouldn't know)....but i wouldn't pay that much...

im with u mate, why waste that sort of money something u only c the end of. better off with a normal straight through muffler with a nice tip.
