Car Detailing Q

Does anyone KNOW what the stuff they spray all over a used car at the dealers/caryards?

The stuff they sprayed on my car WAS fantastic but after a couple of washes it starts to come off. Its so good that it hid the small scratches on the rims so well that I didnt see them when i bought the car, and i specifically looked for scratches.

You notice it on the windscreen as the wipers wipe it off, so Id assume they spray the WHOLE car with it.

Bird poop eats it and when you wash it with a pressure washer you can wash it off, or am i refering to wax? :?:

What do they use on the tyres too? I like the shine...

i think its like wax as u dry spray, and maybe kerro in the water, kerro kills the paint in the long run but makes em look shiney as when ya selling it

I know one thing is for sure - someone needs to tell RLM about these "products"... went there today to look at a car and all their cars are filthy. It hasn't rained since Thursday night. Tsk tsk!
