yea i gave the LED conversion a look and i hear it doesnt work as well unless you want red dials, there has been countless posts for vectra and corsa':P but the odd ebay'd astra dials pop up, i know there is one site that does astra ones but i cant remember,

Autoshop (http://www.autoshop.com.au/forumtopic.php?id=64) also sell them I see. They have a 'how to' on their site as well for a skyline IIRC but the principal is the same.

nam, my car is a 1.8 non turbo, itl never ever ever be fast, might go round corners, but itl never go fast,

so im goin more for the ice approach then the performance,

so far im finding about $250, $300 mark but i havnt seen the ones i realy want yet, ive seen some that can change colour my lil bro has them in his mazda but we cant source them from that company for the astra

And for something different I just found these (http://www.metal-monkey.co.uk/acatalog/Vauxhall.html) over on A-S. Says they do custom as well so could get km/h done. I see they already have them for the Vectra and seems they might be a little cheaper than the EL dials mentioned above.

The Astra dials:
