How about making a donation to the charity instead of wearing a band showing everyone you've contributed?

MiSs_SuZ: is your newsagency a chain or just an independent?

all newsagencies are 'independent'; one owner can have more than one, but they are still technically 'independent'...

11-SXI - ill find out on monday for you, but yeh im pretty sure it's independant, the owner has only been there for 8-9months, but is friends with other newsagency owners around my area. :?

Go Lance, I have had one on since September last year for 2 reasons one is my dad is recovering from the big C and secondly because Lance Armstrong is my Hero and as a family we all follow is progress throughout the year and especially in the tour de france my littlest kids middle name is Lance too :D

I don't think it's about showing people that you've donated. It's about showing support for a cause. Some people like to donate and remain anonymous, some people like to show support, like the pink ribbon, "MJ is innocent" t-shirts  stuff like that.
