hey guys,
i just got back from a wheel alignment and was told that my car is too low
i have 17' wheels sitting about 50mm lower than standard at the front and at the back

at the moment i have only changed the springs

i am looking at either:

1) changing the springs to eibach ones
2) changing the springs to eibach ones and bilstein shocks
3) changing the springs to eibach ones and KYB shocks
4) FK coilovers

i dont plan on doing any track work so it will be just for road use

the name is eibach for the record

option 2 or 3 for me...50mm sounds a smidge too low...

First of all.....why did they say it was too low??

Was it becuase of the difficulty wheel aligning it?

didnt think it looked right!
will fix now

well i am getting quite a bit of camber now so i am wearing down the inside of my tyres

plus was a bit hard they said to do wheel alignment

hey namus how are your shocks?

i see that you have kyb!

yeah awesome mate!! wouldn't use anything else.....

when i first went into get them, the guy told me that "KYB are crap...not designed for our (Aussie) conditions..."

close to 8 months or so on, and I haven't got one complaint; not from me or any of my friends who ride in my saloon....ride quality is 2nd to none!!!

sometimes it'll bottom out, yeah sure, but that's when i do 70km/h over a deepish bump in the road i didn't know about...

for the record: car is lowered 40/30 (front/rear) with 17x7in wheels and King springs...(with the shocks of course)....

disclaimer: if u have ANYTHING different on your car (even if the wheels are 1in bigger/smaller, it may have a different result for your car....please be aware....but this is just common sense really...

The KYB's should be more than upto a low to mild/medium drop job...

cool!
i am leaning towards the kyb simply because i have been told that they are a smoother ride than the bilsteins

i a only planning a 35mm drop so not as much as now
pretty sure they will be ok!

thanks for the feedback
