There's always the Pirellis, Vredestines, or Toyos. What size do you need?

What size did you need?

When I bought mine in 195/60R15 I was told there were nine left in the country and they weren't importing any more in that size.

Excellent tyres btw.

There was a Wheels tyre test last year that looked at small car tyres and an Astra was the test car - winner in the 195/60R15 size was the BF Goodrich G-Force, and in the 205/50R16 size it was the Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3. It's the April 04 issue if you want to read it for yourself.

205/50x16 is a common size for the Precedas. Got them on my SRI. Great tyre

the problem i have with a v6 vec, is the load rating of the tire,
i have 225/40/18s i think... which was hard to fine, but then to find one with a load indext above 89V is hard, i ended up getting hankook VENTUS silica compound tyres, well priced, and load index of 92Y, so im more than happy.

ME TOO!! I have the same problem

I'm supposed to have a load index of 88 or higher.
The size tyre im running now is 225/35 R18. The highest load index i have been able to find is 87 which in terms of kilograms is 15kg's under. I've been using tyres with a load index of 87 for 12months now with no drama's......What concerns are there with this?

Effectively... your car is unroadworthy and most likely not covered by insurance.....

Oh that can't be good

When i bought the wheels i said i want these in 18 inch and i want everything kept in order. clearly they havn't done so when supplying the tyres. :x

I've looked everywhere for a tyre with an appropriate load index. Good quality bad quality. NONE comply

There's plenty of tyres with a size of 225/40 R18 that comply but they arn't the right size when it comes to speedo/gearing

What should i do??
