Too many 3 door Astra H's (no pics soz)

Starting to get sick of seeing them now, they do look good though theres one in the bodyshop getting side skirts and bumper spoilers on it SRi in Star silver 3, 3 in the showroom and most of the sales staff have them as demo cars.............. Don't get me started on the new Tigra bloody girls cars they are.....Although we have on irmscher'd up and they look cute :oops: ,

I can answer this for you...i talked to holden today..

The new astra 3dr will have the same 1.8L 90Kw.. the <revamped> 1.8L engine will not bein the astra for some time. If only being released in the new zafria and the facelifted Vectra C. <both not in Australia> YET :D

Also....Holden will be bringin the 175Kw+ OPC Astra Turbo to Australia.. i seen a pic today of the HSV Astra Turbo. They already have a few in melb being tested and remapped etc.. They have a really nice bodykit and different 18's etc to the OPC...and have the HSV badge on the rear and side skirts.

Also i was told pricing would be about $55K to go up against the Evo and STi. :D

$55k.... :shock: i Heard it would be $45k, i also heard that holden stoped the SRiT because they wernt selling enough, so at $45 i dont think they would sell many and at $55 i dont think they would sell any hahaha

i dont think they can compete with the Evo and Sti, it has the same motor as the 03 SRiT with 147kw, i would think if they wana compete with the high end sports cars they are going to need 206kw at least.... :roll:

But i must say i like the 6 speed box in them, mmmmm :D

I thought the 3 door was priced the same as the 5 door because of the new engine.
Basically youd be getting the same car but less for the same price :screwy:

vxr astra is now on order in the UK for £18995
same engine as the SRi T but thats where it ends.

i think you guys will need to wait and see on the price as it is not that much more in £ for the vxr than the 5 door SRi T 200bhp.
