Astra Turbo - General Performance Query

Just became a member today. Have owned my black turbo for 18 months and am considering some easy mod's to access the cars potential. Have thought about chips, exhausts and other basic stuff but would like to get some real feedback on easy mods before I take the plunge. What can you tell me ?

Re exhausts , most turbo guys here have 2,5 inch systems , ive got a 3 inch system on mine .
A good mod is to de restict the air box ( info in the how too section ) and a K&N filter in there works really well.

As for ECU upgrades a fair few guys have Powerchips , takes power from 147 kw @ flywheel to 176 kw , a great upgrade !!

Unichips are also favorable for good power increases or a Electronic boost controller with fuel cut defender works a treat as well.

would sujest chip as first mod
as this seems to improve performance thet most.
exhaust gives a little more power if done properly, but mainly just noise.
