Hey Everyone,

I have a problem with my speedometer needle. Up until it reaches 60km/h it flickers up and down then once it hits 60 it's fine.

I think there's something wrong with the wiring :?

Where do i go to get this fixed ?? A normal mechanic or some special electrician?

Thanks, Manda

you could swap it with someone who drives like a demon...
you would need to go to an auto electrician.

Is it always like that, or does it occur randomly?

nah its always like that, when i take off from 1st to 2nd it will be erratic, then 2nd to 3rd is the same, then from about 3rd to 4th it will level out as i go faster.

anyone recommend good auto electricianists?

Maybe your speedo cable is busted , a normal mechanic should be able to fix it for you .

What car is it in? Is it a mechanical or electric drive speedo?

good questions! if it's a manual cable hooked up to the gearbox, take it to a mechanic... most likely a calbe replacement is required.

take it to an auto elec if it gets its reading from the ecu
