i got mine done at cromer exhaust, 2" cat back with a sportsCat muffler and twin dumper tips, cost me $360

Yeah and GOZOFF too - funny i was pm'ing him yeasterday about exactly this topic. I'm thinking about doing the same - cat back 2½ inch Xforce muffler exhaust with two resonators (same spec as GOZOFF) apparently it was about $450.

I used them for mine!

Just there basic sports muffler with a tip on it, 2 inch cat back and a new resonator!

Im heaps happy with it, i have friends with astras, one has an xforce cannon the other some generic one i think DRFT from autobarn, the basic sports one from Liverpool is awsome, best on ive heard!

cost me $330 all up! mind you if i was to do it again on a euro would get twin tips!

Leave it as it is! Nice silent system. A sports system on a 4 cyl auto sounds crappy plus!

I've been looking into getting a split system fitted, not unlike the Honda Euro Accord, but have promised my wife that it will remain quiet. I'll just finish it all off with a nice stainless/chrome, rolled edge, 2.5 inch tip on either side.

I used Liverpool Exhaust as well.
Highly recommended. Its pretty much the only car thing thats gone flawlessly for me. Zero hassles with them. Called them up on Saturday morning, got it done Saturday afternoon.

Liverpool Exhaust are good and they have had a lot of experence doing Astra's and SRi esspecially :wink: including mine, mr_astra and mohawk 8)

I think its a good idea if peeps want to hear the sound of our zaust and see what they like would help also, you have to remember esspecially those with a turbo or a 2.2 the sound is very different compared to a 1.8 litre as I found out the hard way and ended up with a very loud zaust and had to spend money again replacing it :roll:

should have a meet where everyone with exaust can go and then everyone who wants one can listen to them

i had to buy another exhuast..
first 1 was loud, and it was only a small cannon..

2nd 1, its huge.. but u cannot hear the exhuast wen u driving outside the car unless your behind the car.. eg.. if i was driving along a rd, you wont hear me coming unless i'v gone past you. but this exhuast sounds alot deeper.. i dunno wots going on..

just the 1 resonator, wen i got my 1st exhuast i got 2' cat bak with the cannon, then i changed the cannon.. nothing else..

and it sounds totally different

not sure what u mean there.. all it was old cannon out and new cannon in..

the new cannon is sum sort of coned shaped internal cannon.. thats wot the bloke told me
