My new grill arrived yesterday (thanks to Julian) and I went straight out, bought some paint and here it is...

Also included some other photos of my car, as it took me this long to get off my a55 to take some...

Apart from europe I haven't seen any astra in australia with your grille 10 points for originality :D

Now you just need to lower the car about 20 inches. Looks good otherwise

thanks. wel i cant claim the originality, i got it off Julian (BoostedAstra).

i agree about needing lowering, y the hell do they have to sit so high? makes them look gay...

Looks good mate, glad it got to ya in one piece.

Yea I can't claim originality for it either, it was first with an old member cosworthpower, but then saw action on my silver Sri and then the blue beast.....

yea the lights aint the best, but the standard ones look terrible (in my opinion) and those are the best of a bad bunch. Any suggestions???

right, so any suggestions then? i havent seen any really good ones for a white car. i dont want dark ones or the original ones.

wat if i took them apart and made the pastic chrome bit inside duller, so that it didnt shine so much?

Namus

IMO making them darker won't help....think it's the design fullstop....

oh, lowering.... :?

any chance for some constructive criticism or ideas? or examples of lights that might work?

here is what it might look like tinted (top 2, bottom normal for comparison)...

yeah ok hard 2 tell cause ur car is parked in the shade and it's white; depends mate; do u want to keep those ones? or are u willing to change?

am willing to change or to modify the current ones. doesnt really matter which, just want something that matches the rest of the car.

i've got a white astra (same model as yours) and i've been looking for a good set of tail lights that'll go with white. i personally havn't found any tail lights at all that look good with the astra :?

i do think those taillights look better tinted though. nice car

Yeah, i would at least give it a try.

Samvac, are they the white and red tinted taillights? (as opposed to the stock white, red and amber)

the grill makes the front look like a ek civic
and the tail lights are ugly

they're irmscher, all tinted, the red bit you see is the reflectors so it complies with the relevant standards ;)
