My SRi has been turboed....well sort of

Hi all,

My SRi-T tail lights arrived today. Thanks to OPL-20T for selling em to me. Couldnt be happier. :D I thought id post a few before/after pics. Enjoy!

I know the turbo lights are just slightly tinted compared to normal ones, but damn they make a BIG difference! Looks awesome mate! :mrgreen:

Cheers guys! I found the standard ones just looked too "bright" on black. Im blown away by the difference. They blend in really well.

yea takes off the bright red that was stealing all the attention away from the very nice car. being a black car the darker red blends nicely

Haha i dont think ill be buying chrome wheels. Maybe i should buy some chrome spinners :) Nah i wont be doing that. I need to get the wheel caps next. And a new zorst.

It always surprises me when I pull up behind a turbo how much better the lights look, is the only difference the darkness??

Go get yourself a tin of "Nightshade" for a cheap and nasty alternative. :D If you do though, one tip...when the lens is off the car and your spraying it, things always seem "lighter" than when you get it back on the car and not so much light coming through!!! :shock:

Looking good mate! I've got the Turbo tail lights on my silver CD and I reckon it's the simplest mod, with the greatest effect, I've done.
As much as I like the eyebrows, I wish I'd grabbed a pair of the dark headlights too. Oh well, maybe another time . . .

coolness 8) yeah mine are shadow black; number of factors could be making his look darker: brake dust; light; angle of shot etc...definately the same as mine tho..
