Dude who owns this car was selling it. Apparently, he's moving to Australia.

Probably a good idea to sell it, can't see it getting rego in any state or territory here with the amount of work done to it.

it wouldn't cost that much to ship it over (and then use it as a track car) the money he'll get on sale for the car wouldn't cover anywhere near his efforts he put into it.

True, but with what he was selling it for, I'm guessing he was probably planning on buying something with a V8 here. Although, if he was planning on a V8 Commodore of some sort, it might not be as cheap as he'd have planned.
