HSV Avalanche XUV

Was on parramatta rd when this huge ute type vehical roared past me doin at least 120-140km/h as i was going 80.
Just posting this cause ive never seen one and i was surprised at the hugeness of it.
I dont really like it though.

140km/h on Parramatta Rd? As the Avalanche is not a "real" 4WD would have been an interesting ride for sure!

Yeah "Pete" it was flying, parramatta rd towards paramatta after the turn off to the M4, the roads get wider and there are less cars.

actually, completely by coincidence obviously, one was following me on my way home yesterday....they are big mothers.....140km/h???? :shock: :shock:

Was the number plate of the one yesterday like CGS 7? Something custom like that.

I own an RTV which is Fords answer to the XUV or adventra. Anyway you would be suprised at the handling as it's pretty good. Although it's higher it is fortunate enough to not look like a brick plowing through the air like a typical 4x4!

Put an RTV and an XUV beside eachother.
the XUV not only jacked, but it is HUGE.
where as an RTV is pretty much a jacked ute (no offence, good vehicles imo).

and would you believe how many people get XUV's and avalanches from RUF and get them lowered before they pick them up??????

yeah isn't the height sposed to be part of the attraction? because they are off-road vehicles......hence the height; so lowering would be missing the point.....

I have seen a std commodore wgn with the Advendura body kit dumped on it's ass in melbourne and it looks great. I think he had 18's or 19's on it.
