Just wondering how many of these are laying around in garages, how hard it’s going to be to get one and what they’re worth?
Pricing up a future project idea but this is probably the main piece

I'd say not too many. With only 97 AWD Calibras imported to this country, I'd say most are scrap by now. I know on Saabworx, one guy has basically adapted some Audi AWD gearbox to a B204 (which shares the same gearbox pattern as the Opel/Vauxhall Family 1 and 2 engines). From memory, he was looking at stuffing the Haldex AWD system into a Corsa B.

Thanks for that info Chris, I wasn’t aware the numbers were so low in Australia! I’ll have to go check out saabworx

Well, Calibras in general aren't that common locally to begin with. AWD Turbos didn't sell that well either. It's a shame though, I think they were one of the better looking cars from the 90s, just let down by shoddy electrics.

Steffi, just to be sure, please call the Eumundi Wreckers and enquire if they have any Calibra's. Last time I was there, they had 2 or 3 Cali's. Now that would be a while ago when I was there but they might still have them (or in parts at least).
